Features
Rust preventives on petroleum oil basis are mostly used for short and midterm protection These are easy to apply and easy to remove without leaving residues behind, so that subsequent surface treatments (paint coatings, galvanic layers) would not be affected.
Solvent-containing rust preventives that form greasy to dry strongly adhering
films usually provide excellent corrosion protection and are being widely used.
Emulsifiable rust protection agents in the form of 5 to 15% emulsions produce
thin oily protective film.
